Ab 19.00 Uhr ist die Pianistin Alexandra Ivanova mit ihrem Solo "Beauty In Chaos" zu Gast. 

Die österreichische Pianistin und Komponistin Averbindet Jazz, Klassik, Maqam-Klänge, Balkan-Rhythmen und afro-kubanische Einflüsse zu einem ganz eigenen Stil. Ihre bulgarischen Wurzeln und internationalen Erfahrungen prägen ihren „unorthodoxen Kompositionsansatz“ (All About Jazz).

Mit ihrem Trio veröffentlichte sie 2023 das Debütalbum Beauty in Chaos (Jazz thing Next Generation Vol. 99) und tourte u.a. durch Ägypten, Deutschland, Saudi-Arabien und Kuba. Als Solistin war sie zuletzt beim Festival l’Esprit du Piano in Bordeaux und dem Reykjavik Jazz Festival zu hören.
Ihre Musik lädt dazu ein, die Welt aus verschiedenen Perspektiven zu betrachten: zwischen dem Osten, dem Westen oder irgendwo dazwischen.

Every Monday from 3pm, you can visit us at the Montagscafé at Kleines Haus, where you can enjoy free admission, including drinks, soup and a cultural programme.

Starting at 7 p.m., pianist Alexandra Ivanova will perform her solo piece “Beauty In Chaos.”

The Austrian pianist and composer combines jazz, classical music, maqam sounds, Balkan rhythms, and Afro-Cuban influences to create her own unique style. Her Bulgarian roots and international experiences shape her “unorthodox approach to composition” (All About Jazz).

With her trio, she released her debut album Beauty in Chaos (Jazz thing Next Generation Vol. 99) in 2023 and toured Egypt, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Cuba, among other countries. As a soloist, she most recently performed at the Festival l'Esprit du Piano in Bordeaux and the Reykjavik Jazz Festival.
Her music invites listeners to view the world from different perspectives: between East and West, or somewhere in between.
