In Zeiten wie diesen, in denen das normale Clubleben brach liegt, erhält das Veranstaltungsformat »Beyond The Club« eine ganz andere Bedeutung. DAVE wagt das Experiment und rückt es in diesem Jahr ins Zentrum des Festivals mit der Martin-Luther-Kirche als Veranstaltungsort. An drei Abenden dient die Kirche als Refugium für vielfältige Sounds elektronischer Musikkünstler*innen. Die in Istanbul geborene Hüma Utku und die aus Teheran stammende Sahar Homami verschmelzen traditionelle Klänge, Industrial, abstrakten Techno und Visuals zu einer düsteren Welt, in der immer auch die Hoffnung auf Veränderung aufglimmt. Grebenstein & Seefried spannen einen geräumigen und verführerischen Popraum auf, in dem Industrial, Lyrics und Wave miteinander flirten, während Dasha Rush und Schloss Mirabell Maschinen und Cello, Analoges und Digitales zu einer Performance kombinieren, die Ambient-Techno und Klassik vereint.

In times like these, when normal club life lies idle, the event format »Beyond The Club« gets on a completely different meaning. DAVE dares to experiment and puts it this year in the centre of the festival with the Martin Luther Church as the venue. On three evenings, the church provides a refuge for a variety of sounds from electronic music artists.
Istanbul-born Hüma Utku and Tehran-born Sahar Homami fuse traditional sounds, industrial, abstract techno and visuals into a dark world in which there is always hope for change. Grebenstein & Seefried create a spacious and seductive pop space where industrial, lyrics and wave flirt with each other, while Dasha Rush and Schloss Mirabell combine machines and cello, analogue and digital into a performance that unites ambient techno and classical music.
