eleOnora (Eleonora Kampe) is an Estonian-Latvian singer and avant-garde vocalist. In her solo work eleOnora is focused on approaching voice in a very physical manner, trying to mix already set archaic techniques to create something new in the world of physically demanding vocal styles. For the past decade she has been developing her own abstract vocal style that can be compared to a kind of a mix of Diamanda Galas meets Audrey Chen meets eleOnora’s own vocal teacher Anne Türnpu (Estonian director and actress also specialising in extended vocal coaching). Additionally she is also busy in two duo projects. Ringhold – alternative blues duo with Kalle Tikas and Road To Saturn – ambient and dark sound scapes with Rich T. of Lost Harbours.
