Defne Belkıs is a Turkey based performer and also an art student, studying stage and costume design. Creating her first drag persona was when she faced rejection by her home country. Drag for her is a playful way to express her personal experiences and political topics. She has a unique drag style with a male presenting makeup and a hyper feminine costumes. And the beloved characters name? Mr. Rejection.
