The last six months have seen Fontaines D.C. release three hotly received double A-side singles, both of which were named as singles of the week by Rough Trade, and garnered early support from the likes of Steve Lamacq and others on BBC 6 Music, as well as earning feature space from every major Irish publication. Now they're back with the release of 'Too Real', the fourth two-track and 7" release from the Irish quintet. Fontaines D.C. met in Dublin, influenced and driven in equal measure by the rich history of their hometown’s counter-culture, their response has been to make concise and immediately authentic indie-punk that has done anything but fall on deaf ears. The band have gone from strength-to-strength with each release, and with a vast array of critical acclaim, renowned live shows, a series of sold out releases behind them and their recent signing to Partisan, the new single and forthcoming dates stand as a huge statement of intent, which is not to be ignored.

FPODBPOD
Hailing from San Francisco, California, FPODBPOD is the brainchild of Sean Olmstead. As an alum of such psych rock groups as Sugar Candy Mountain and The Blank Tapes, Sean brings a taste of California sunshine to the steady grooves of FPODBPOD, while at the same time imparting a darkness with a wink to the songs. FPODBPOD’s songs are focused on infectious pop melodies while nodding to the endless pulses of Neu!, as well as the greasy tones of Steely Dan, and the CBGB’s disco of Talking Heads.
FPODBPOD is currently putting the finishing touches on its next record which was recorded in the dusty Martian landscape of Joshua Tree, California.
