Wojciech Kwapisiński is a saxophonist playing prepared reeds, whose focus lies on the practice and theory of improvised music. He is a co-organizer of improvised and experimental music concert series in Warsaw. He composes acousmatic, textual and graphic compositions and develops theoretical work by publishing texts on music. As an improviser he has performed with numerous musicians: Oori Shalev, Zeger Vandenbussche, Paul N. Roth, Tomasz Gadecki, Ramunas Jaras, Gamid Ibadullayev, Ksawery Wójciński, Giedyminas Stepanavičius, Alexander Markvart, Myroslav Trofymuk, Alexey Vorsoba, Milan Jakeš, Michał Kasperek, Kristupas Gikas, Julien Chamla, Katya Tasheva, Anat Kohavi, Sébastien Beliah and many others. He is a Co-founder of bands and musical projects such as Nor Cold, Hakafot, Altona, Sona, Airth, Promieniowanie, Zmiana Czasu etc.
