In der HipHop-Edition unserer Pop & Poesie-Show begrüßen Nicole „Neitschl“ Hoyer und Falk Töpfer dieses Jahr Afrob und Sookee alias Sukini. Der schwäbische Godfather of Deutschem Rap und die Antifaschistin aus MeckPomm lieben ganz offensichtlich gute Reime und Grooves, was sie zu perfekten Gästen dieser Show macht. In vielleicht keiner anderen Musik ist so viel Platz für Text. HipHop erzählt direkt aus dem Leben, von schmerzhaften Abgründen, gigantischen Höhenflügen und so ziemlich allem dazwischen. Nur Bitches und Bling Bling war gestern, heute ist das Genre so divers wie nie. Aber wie war es, in den glorreichen Neunzigern in Stuttgart durchzustarten? Was bedeutet es, als Feministin mit queerem Fokus zu rappen? Geht Botschaft über Style? Wie bleibt man 25 Jahre im Game? Warum sind Kinder eine gute Zielgruppe? Neitschl und Falk holen wie immer alles aus ihren Gästen raus, vielleicht sogar eine spontane wortreiche Einlage. Also putzt eure Grillz und tretet ein in den Battle Rap der guten Laune!

THE BONES stehen seit über zwei Jahrzehnten für erstklassigen skandinavischen Punk’n’Roll. Mit ihren druckvollen Riffs und hymnischen Refrains sorgen sie für pure Energie und unvergessliche Live-Momente.

LUCIFER STAR MACHINE liefern eine explosive Mischung aus Punk und dreckigem Hard Rock. Ihre kompromisslosen Liveshows haben ihnen europaweit den Ruf eingebracht, jede Bühne in Schutt und Asche zu legen.

Bass and trombone combine to create sonic textures hard to find anywhere else. 
Two international masters, American trombonist Christopher Robin Cox and Japanese bassist Akira Ando, will come together to paint upon a blank canvas in real time. These two veteran improvisors first met in the late 1990s when performing together in the Cecil Taylor Orchestra at the San Francisco Jazz Festival. Fast forward thirty years and they played together for the second time in April with the Sürgös Quartet, featuring legendary Philadelphia saxophonist Elliott Levin. Cox and Ando found immediate sonic energy, often drifting off into their own drones and extended tonalities during the performances. 

Culture Club is a Dresden based community for subculture music. We promote live-shows and dj-nights, mostly regarding postpunk, wave, garage, punk, indie, electronics, pop and whatever hits us.

Through their boundless textures and harmonies, the Spanish duo AEREA has emerged in the techno circuit as a fresh and vibrant musical dimension, one that has remaine largely unexplored in this scene until now.

Their eclectic style blends elements from various genres —such as Trance, Hardgroove, and Schranz, among others— striking the perfect balance between club-driven energy and an intense emotional journey. Their LIVE performance elevates this concept even further, blending their signature melodies with live vocals in both Spanish and English, turning every show into a whole experience.

AEREA’s sound is in constant evolution, incorporating increasingly dynamic rhythms that align with the global scene without losing its genuine depth. It’s the perfect fusion of raw dancefloor intensity and the melodic sensitivity that defines them. Thanks to this seamless understanding of music and their unique approach to merging different facets of Techno, AEREA has already taken off, performing at major festivals such as The Town (Brazil), Gate 13 Festival (Portugal), Dreambeach, A Summer Story, and Medusa, as well as renowned clubs across Europe, including E1 London and Fabrik Madrid, among others.
